Job Purpose and Impact

The Financial Planning and Analysis Leader, is a leadership position, will provide strategic financial leadership to establish the vision and strategy of financial planning and analysis for a complex business group globally or regionally. In this role, you will lead a high performing team to provide insight into business profitability, value creation and growth opportunities through a deep understanding of the relationships between revenues, costs and balance sheets. You will also bring market perspective through effective and creative benchmarking, drive financial performance and growth, enable understanding of product and customer profitability and evaluate investment, acquisition and divestiture opportunities.

Key Accountabilities -

- Provide strategic partnership to the business group leader, bringing perspective on varying aspects of the business strategy.

- Translate financial metrics into actionable insights that improve decision making, performance and business growth in a business.

- Direct the identification and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) to create, maintain and preserve value within a complex business group and focuses management on the most significant risks and opportunities.

- Partner with various stakeholders to support new business activities including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures, business transactions, tax and customs issues, monitoring the performance of the new acquired business and providing resolutions to limit risks.

- Lead the design, development and implementation of value-added business analytics and seeks external benchmarking to provide insights to drive targeted actions.

- Partners closely with other functions and business managers to ensure strategies are accomplished, leveraging accounting and finance resources for key support, information and data.

- Provide strategic leadership, development and talent management activities for direct reports and their organizations, which may include forecasting resource needs, recruiting, hiring, performance management, training and budgeting. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor\'s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

- Confirmed ability to communicate complex topics in a simple and concise manner, enabling improved decision making and deeper business insight

- Experience integrating and interpreting disparate sources of data by leveraging a broad range of analytical data tools, statistical methodologies and predictive modeling techniques

- Experience in international business management and issues, including global supply chains, multiple currency environments, commodity and financial risk

- Minimum of eight years of related work experience, five years of supervisory experience

- Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

- Qualified Chartered Accountant with at least 15 years of work experience.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis

- Experience of working in a regional leadership role with proven ability to lead teams across diverse backgrounds and ability to work with teams across functions and businesses.
