The Career Specialist will guide students and professionals in identifying suitable career paths based on their skills, interests, and aspirations. The role involves conducting assessments, providing personalized counselling, and supporting clients in achieving academic and career success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct one-on-one and group counselling sessions for students and professionals.
Administer psychometric and aptitude tests to assess skills, personality, and interests.
Provide guidance on educational programs, career planning, and skill development.
Assist clients in preparing resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and interview preparation.
Stay updated with current job market trends, emerging career options, and educational opportunities.
Organize workshops, seminars, and webinars on career awareness and employability skills.
Collaborate with academic departments, HR teams, and placement cells for student or employee career development.
Maintain detailed counselling records and prepare progress reports.
Offer continuous support and mentorship to clients through their career journey.
Required Skills and Competencies:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Empathy, active listening, and a non-judgmental attitude.
Knowledge of psychometric tools and counselling techniques.
Familiarity with job market trends and industry requirements.
