We are seeking a dynamic Career & Admissions Counselor to drive student enrollment by directly engaging with prospective students. Your primary role is to connect via phone, provide expert guidance on course offerings and career pathways, and convert inquiries into confirmed admissions. This position blends career counseling with targeted enrollment goals in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Initiate outbound and manage inbound calls with prospective students to understand their career goals and educational needs. Provide detailed information about courses, curricula, career outcomes, and program value propositions to generate interest. Guide prospective students through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to application submission and enrollment. Utilize consultative selling and counseling techniques to address concerns, overcome objections, and convert leads into admissions. Maintain and manage a robust pipeline of prospects using the CRM system, ensuring timely follow-up and engagement. Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly targets for calls, qualified leads, and finalized admissions. Collaborate with the admissions and academic teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new students. Document all interactions and provide regular reports on conversion metrics and pipeline status.

Requirements

1-3 years of proven experience in admissions counseling, enrollment advising, telesales, or a similar phone-based student recruitment role. Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills, with a persuasive and clear phone manner. Strong goal-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed enrollment or sales targets. Basic proficiency with CRM software and comfort working in a performance-driven environment.
