As a Student Career Counsellor, you will provide guidance and support to students in exploring career options, making educational decisions, and preparing for the job market. You will work closely with students to help them understand their strengths, interests, and goals, and assist them in developing strategies for academic and career success.
Roles & Key Responsibilities:
Open to male or female candidates.
Bachelors Degree: Required in Counselling, Psychology, Education, Human Resources, Social Work, or a related field.
Masters Degree: Preferred or sometimes required, especially in Counselling, Higher Education, Career Counselling, or a related field. A Masters degree enhances expertise and may be necessary for licensure or certification.
Willingness to travel is required.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a school such as schools, colleges, or universities, is advantageous
Excellent communication skills.
Counseling Experience: Previous experience in career counselling, academic advising, or a related field is highly valued. Experience working with students or young adults is particularly beneficial.
