Position: Career Counsellor

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Career Counsellor to join our team at MAKBIG in Calicut. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the education sector, excellent communication and counselling skills, and a genuine interest in guiding students toward the right academic and career paths.

Responsibilities:

Interact with students through calls, walk-ins, and online inquiries to understand their career goals and interests.

Provide personalized counselling to help students choose suitable academic programs and institutions.

Offer detailed information about courses, admission procedures, and eligibility criteria.

Support students and parents in making informed decisions about higher education and career planning.

Maintain accurate records of student inquiries and ensure timely follow-ups from initial contact to admission.

Collaborate with marketing and academic teams to meet enrollment and counselling goals.

Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and educational institutions.

Requirements:

Graduation or Post Graduation in any discipline (Education, Psychology, or related field preferred).

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in educational counselling or academic advising.

Strong communication skills in Malayalam and English (Hindi is an advantage).

Empathetic, approachable, and goal-driven personality.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and achieve targets.
