Job Summary:The Academic Counsellor is responsible for guiding students in making informed decisions about their education and career paths. The role involves understanding learners' needs, recommending suitable courses or programs, and ensuring an excellent end-to-end counselling and admission experience.Key Responsibilities:- Counsel students on educational programs, career options, and admission processes.- Conduct telephonic, online, or in-person counselling sessions to convert inquiries into enrollments.- Understand student requirements and recommend appropriate courses or learning solutions.- Maintain and update student records, follow up on leads, and ensure timely conversions.- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to achieve enrolment targets.- Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally to generate leads and follow up with prospects.- Assist in planning and executing promotional events, webinars, or academic fairs.- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and support.- Stay updated on courses, industry trends, and competitor offerings to guide students better.
