Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnostic Procedures

Perform ECG, TMT, Holter Monitoring, and other non-invasive cardiac tests. Assist in Echo procedures as required. Prepare patients before tests and ensure proper positioning and monitoring.

Cath Lab Support (if assigned)

Assist during angiogram, angioplasty, pacemaker, and other interventional procedures. Maintain sterility and support scrub nurse/technologist when required. Handle equipment and ensure proper functioning before procedures.

Patient Care

Explain procedures clearly to patients and obtain cooperation. Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout the procedure. Monitor vital signs during tests and report abnormalities immediately.

Equipment Handling

Operate, calibrate, and maintain cardiac diagnostic equipment. Report any technical issues to the biomedical department promptly.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate test reports and update patient records. Assist in preparing data for cardiologists' review. Follow hospital protocols for documentation and data confidentiality.

Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments for smooth workflow. Inform patients about test schedules and results availability. Maintain professional communication with patients and colleagues.

Compliance & Safety

Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean work area. Follow all hospital policies, dress code, and attendance guidelines. Participate in training, audits, and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

B.Sc Cardiac Technology / Diploma in Cardiac Technology Knowledge of ECG, TMT, Holter, Echo basics Good communication and patient-handling skills Ability to work in rotational duties (ICCU, IMCU, Echo, Cath Lab as needed) Quick learner with attention to detail Ability to handle emergency situations calmly

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
