Job Description

Perform diagnostic tests:

Conduct a range of tests, including electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, and stress tests, to assess a patient's cardiovascular system.

Assist in procedures:

Support cardiologists during invasive procedures like cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and pacemaker insertions in the cardiac catheterization lab.

Operate and maintain equipment:

Ensure that diagnostic equipment, such as ECG machines and ultrasound devices, is calibrated and functioning properly.

Monitor patients:

Continuously track and record patients' vital signs and heart rhythms, especially during critical procedures or in the ICU/CCU, and alert medical staff to any abnormalities.

Prepare and educate patients:

Explain procedures to patients, prepare them for testing, and provide information on heart health and follow-up care.

Analyze and interpret results:

Analyze test results and help interpret them to provide data to physicians for diagnosis.
