Role:

Cardiac Anesthesiologist - CTICU

Department:

Cardiac Anaesthesia / Cardiothoracic ICU

Location:

Meridian Hospital, Kolathur, Chennai

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years in Cardiac Anaesthesia preferred

Qualification:

MD/DNB/DM in Anesthesiology with experience in Cardiac/CTICU care

Key Responsibilities:

Administer anesthesia during cardiac surgeries including CABG, valve replacements, and other cardiothoracic procedures. Provide perioperative and post-operative care in the CTICU. Monitor patient vitals and respond to complications during and after surgery. Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards. Be available for on-call duties as per the hospital's cardiac emergency protocols.

Skills Required:

In-depth knowledge of cardiac physiology and cardiopulmonary bypass techniques. Proficiency in Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) is an added advantage. Ability to handle critical care scenarios in a high-pressure environment. Strong communication and team coordination skills.
