The Car Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling new or pre-owned vehicles to customers, providing exceptional customer service, and achieving monthly sales targets. The role involves understanding customer needs, explaining product features, arranging test drives, and ensuring a smooth sales process from inquiry to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers visiting the showroom or contacting through phone/email.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicles.
Explain vehicle features, specifications, pricing, and financing or insurance options.
Demonstrate vehicles and arrange test drives.
Maintain knowledge of all current models, variants, offers, and competitor products.
Prepare and process sales paperwork such as booking forms, invoices, finance documents, and delivery checklists.
Follow up with potential customers to close sales and maintain long-term relationships.
Achieve monthly sales targets set by the management.
Maintain the showroom environment, ensuring vehicles are clean and properly displayed.
Coordinate with the sales manager, finance team, and delivery staff for smooth operations.
Participate in sales campaigns, promotional activities, and outdoor events.
Keep records of customer interactions and sales using CRM tools.
Skills & Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
Proven experience in automobile sales or related field is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and customer service abilities.
Knowledge of automotive industry trends and products.
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
Valid driving licence is a must.
