Delivering vehiclesPreparing vehicles for delivery, and ensuring customers understand the vehicle's features, warranty, and paperwork
Following up with customersMaintaining an owner follow-up system, and following up on post-delivery items
Maintaining the showroomHelping to set up the showroom and displays, and keeping the used-vehicle department clean
Analyzing performanceReviewing and analyzing actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year
Attending sales meetingsAttending sales meetings and helping with the used-vehicle inspection process
Automobile sales executives typically work full time, with varying evening and weekend hours. They earn a salary plus commission from automotive sales and incentives for meeting sales goals
