The New Car Sales Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end customer journey, from the initial greeting in the showroom to the final delivery of the vehicle. You will providing expert product knowledge, conducting professional test drives, and negotiating deals that meet both dealership profit margins and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement:
Greet showroom visitors promptly and professionally; manage digital leads via email, phone, and whats app etc.
Needs Analysis:
Ask insightful questions to understand the customer's lifestyle, budget, and technical requirements (e.g., family size, towing needs, EV interest).
Product Demonstration:
Maintain an expert-level understanding of all vehicle features, safety ratings, and technology; perform high-impact vehicle walk-arounds and accompany customers on test drives.
Negotiation & Closing:
Present pricing, trade-in valuations, and finance options; handle objections with professionalism to close the sale.
Post-Sale Support:
Coordinate with the Delivery Coordinator for vehicle preparation and lead the "New Car Handover" ceremony to ensure a 5-star customer experience.
Lead Generation:
Actively follow up with prospects and maintain a database to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience:
Proven track record in a retail sales or customer-facing role (Automotive experience is preferred but not always required).
Licensing:
Must possess a valid, clean
Driver's License
.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written skills; ability to explain complex finance terms or technical specs in simple language.
