Job Description

An F&B Captain supervises daily food and beverage service, leading staff, ensuring high guest satisfaction, coordinating with the kitchen for smooth order flow, handling complaints, and managing operations like inventory and cleanliness, acting as the crucial link between management, service staff, and customers. Key duties involve pre-shift briefings, training servers, overseeing table settings, resolving issues, and ensuring adherence to hygiene and hotel standards, all to enhance the dining experience. Key Responsibilities

Staff Supervision & Training:

Lead and guide servers during shifts. Train new team members and conduct meetings. Create staff duty rosters.

Guest Experience:

Greet guests, take orders, and check satisfaction. Address complaints and special requests promptly. Upsell menu items and promote specials.

Operations & Coordination:

Liaise between kitchen and service staff for efficient delivery. Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and table settings. Manage inventory and report supply needs. Handle POS system transactions and billing accurately.

Standards & Reporting:

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hotel SOPs. Assist with daily reports and shift handovers.
