Job Description

Responsibilities:

- The right candidate is a professional with a background in finance and strategy consulting. They will undertake the following functions:

- Perform financial analysis and reporting, and track operational metrics of companies operating in the aviation industry such as airlines, airport operators and OEMs

- Conduct research and data mining, gather business intelligence to develop valuation models, analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support

- Analyze past results, conduct perform variance analysis, identify trends and make recommendations for improvements

- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting financial and operational data and undertaking comparative analysis

- Manage a small project or a module of large project individually or through a small team

- Understand project/client objectives, and conduct comprehensive and effective research, both secondary and primary (interview, FGDs and surveys), to offer relevant actionable solutions

- Conduct detailed qualitative and quantitative analyses (ranging from simple to complex)

- Carry out business analysis/financial analysis/macro and micro analysis/due diligence

- Interact with internal and external subject matter experts on all sector developments to build a deeper understanding of those developments on the project and build industry-focused relationships with key contacts

- Facilitate brainstorming sessions with project teams and provide strong leverage to the module lead in creating approach and work plan

- Take complete ownership of the final project delivery and ensure client satisfaction

- Prepare client deliverables within deadlines while ensuring a comprehensive and structured output

Qualifications:

- MBA in finance from a premier B school, B.Com with CFA Level II or chartered accountants with experience in M&A advisory/financial due diligence

Required experience & skills:

- At least 4-6 years of progressive experience in financial due diligence/M&A strategic consulting

- Exceptional verbal communication, writing and presentation skills

- Zeal to learn and lead initiatives
