The Transformation Financial & Resource Management Specialist will be part of the CAO function and report to the Financial & Resource Management functional lead of the Transformation Central PMO. The Transformation Central PMO team leads a diverse set of activities across the entire Regulatory Transformation Program including (i) managing and tracking progress against plan across multiple programs and in multiple regions and lines of business, (ii) establishing and enforcing standards and protocols for execution consistency and quality. The Financial & Resource Management team oversees the Program\xe2\x80\x99s collective ability to effectively manage Program financials and resources and mitigate or resolve associated risks and issues. A key success factor for this role is the ability to fluidly work across multiple programs and lines of business, often at a fast-moving pace, and influence a wide array of stakeholders through sound analytics and data-driven recommendations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively support the mandate of the Transformation Central PMO team to ensure effective financial and resource management across the delivery of the Comprehensive Action Plan and associated programs
  • Consolidate and analyse financial and resourcing risks and issues impacting execution with the goal of identifying key themes and emerging risks that provide \'early warning\' and drive proactive response
  • Work closely with Finance and HR, ensure effective management reporting on the status of specific financial and resourcing risks and issues against their mitigation, highlighting any matters requiring attention
  • Ensure adherence to processes, procedures, methods, and standards for delivery in and across the Program, specifically as it relates to financial and resourcing management and related risks and issues
  • Partner with the embedded Program PMO teams to collate financial and resourcing data, ensuring high-quality and on-time production and delivery of key program execution management information and insights
  • Work with Finance, HR and the PMO Risk and Issues Management team to ensure any respective financial and resourcing execution risks and issues are captured and reconciled accordingly
  • Maintain good record keeping including for internal audit purposes
  • Play an active role in evolving/enhancing the Program\'s PMO functional capabilities including financial and resource management functional tooling requirements and technology enhancements
Qualifications
  • Overall Experience of 10-12 years
  • Strong quantitative background and analytical skills in accounting or business management (expert in Excel and familiarity in using Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau, or other comparable tools)
  • Strong understanding of PMO responsibilities and activities, particularly with financial and resourcing program management
  • Track record of participating in major transformation programs
  • Experience within the Financial Services Industry and / or management consulting a plus
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, change, and flexible deliverables / business focus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to quickly come up to speed on new topics and engage in the substance of the efforts at hand
  • Strong interpersonal skills, track record of managing and working with a broad spectrum of internal clients / stakeholders
  • Self-starter who brings high sense of urgency to assignments and goals
  • Well-developed listening skills and an ability to engage at the senior management level
Education
  • Bachelor\'s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Maste\'rs degree
