Canteen Operations & Administration
Oversee day-to-day operations of the canteen, including opening, closing, and cash handling.
Plan and manage menus in consultation with management, ensuring variety and nutrition.
Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, and stock levels.
Ensure timely service of breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages.
Food Quality & Hygiene
Ensure high standards of food preparation, quality, and taste.
Monitor hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in kitchen, dining, and storage areas.
Implement food safety regulations and maintain proper food handling practices.
Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials and supplies.
Staff Supervision & Management
Recruit, train, and supervise canteen staff including cooks, servers, and cleaners.
Allocate work schedules, monitor staff performance, and ensure discipline.
Provide training on hygiene, safety, and customer service.
Finance & Inventory Management
Prepare and monitor canteen budgets, expenses, and revenues.
Maintain stock levels and ensure timely procurement of raw materials.
Prevent wastage and pilferage through effective inventory control.
Ensure transparent billing and proper cash management.
Customer Service & Feedback
Address complaints, suggestions, and feedback from students and staff.
Ensure courteous and efficient service at all times.
Introduce innovative food options, offers, and seasonal specials.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory food regulations.
Maintain fire safety equipment and emergency response procedures.
Conduct periodic audits and inspections of the canteen.
