About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced
Canteen Manager
with a strong background in premium hospitality (5-star hotel experience preferred) to oversee the daily operations of our canteen/dining facility. The ideal candidate will ensure
high-quality food presentation, excellent customer service, and smooth operations
of the dining hall while maintaining hygiene and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of the canteen/dining hall, ensuring smooth service for employees and guests.
Supervise and train canteen staff on food handling, hygiene, and customer service standards.
Ensure attractive
food presentation
and maintain quality standards consistent with premium hospitality practices.
Monitor inventory, procurement, and wastage control while coordinating with vendors and suppliers.
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the dining area and kitchen, complying with food safety regulations.
Handle customer feedback, resolve complaints, and maintain high levels of satisfaction.
Plan menus, special events, and dining experiences in collaboration with culinary teams.
Prepare reports on operations, inventory, costs, and staff performance.
Enforce policies regarding punctuality, dress code, and discipline among canteen staff.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Minimum
5 years of experience
in food and beverage operations, preferably in 5-star hotels or premium catering.
Strong understanding of
food hygiene, safety, and presentation standards
.
Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills
to interact with staff, management, and guests.
Ability to lead a team, manage multiple priorities, and maintain operational efficiency.
Knowledge of
inventory management, cost control, and vendor coordination

Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
Culinary knowledge or formal training in hospitality is a plus.
