Position Overview

We are seeking a responsible and experienced

Canteen Manager

to oversee the daily operations of our organization's canteen. The ideal candidate will be accountable for ensuring food hygiene standards, managing inventory and supplies, supervising staff, and maintaining an efficient and clean canteen environment.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure all

food preparation and service

meet high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety as per FSSAI guidelines.

Manage daily operations

of the canteen including kitchen activities, staff supervision, and customer service. Maintain optimal

stock levels

of raw materials, groceries, beverages, and other canteen supplies. Oversee

inventory control

, including daily stock tracking, expiry checks, and placing timely purchase orders. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for

timely procurement

and quality checks of raw materials. Maintain

cost control

without compromising food quality or safety standards. Ensure proper

waste management

, cleanliness of the kitchen, storage areas, and dining facilities. Prepare and maintain

daily sales, expense, and stock reports

. Address employee feedback or concerns related to food, cleanliness, or service promptly. Implement safety protocols and conduct regular inspections for compliance with health regulations. Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluation of canteen personnel.

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience (5+ years) as a Canteen Manager, Kitchen Supervisor, or similar role in a hospitality or corporate setting. Strong understanding of

food hygiene standards, kitchen operations, and inventory management

. Ability to manage a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills for reporting and stock management (Excel or inventory software). Strong organizational and communication skills. Certification in Food Safety or Hospitality Management is a plus.

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
