The Multi-Cuisine Canteen Cook is responsible for preparing hygienic, nutritious, and high-quality meals in bulk across multiple cuisines. The role ensures consistency in taste, timely service, and strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals in bulk for
Indian (North & South), Chinese, Continental, and regional cuisines
as per menu
Ensure food quality, taste consistency, and portion control
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen, equipment, and utensils
Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards (FSSAI guidelines)
Plan daily food preparation to meet service timelines
Store raw materials properly and minimize food wastage
Coordinate with kitchen helpers and supervisors
Assist in menu planning and recipe standardization
Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven experience as a
Multi-Cuisine Cook
or similar role
Strong knowledge of Indian and international cuisines
Experience in
bulk cooking for canteens or institutional kitchens
Understanding of food hygiene, safety, and sanitation practices
Ability to work in shifts and under pressure
Physically fit for kitchen operations
Preferred Skills
Experience in corporate, industrial, hospital, or educational canteens
Knowledge of cost control and portion management
Ability to follow standardized recipes
Team player with good coordination skills
Working Hours
Shift-based / Fixed timing (as per canteen operations)
