We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our Canadian CPA Firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including managing financial records, preparing financial statements, handling GST, HST, and Canadian accounting procedures. Proficiency in QuickBooks and a good understanding of Canadian tax regulations are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
Manage financial records and ensure accuracy
Prepare financial statements and reports
Handle GST, HST, and other tax-related tasks
Conduct internal audits and reviews
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Provide support during financial reviews and audits
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA designation or working towards it
Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting principles and tax regulations
Experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software
