Key Responsibilities:
Employer Engagement:
Establish and maintain relationships with employers and industry partners.
Identify and approach new companies for potential recruitment opportunities.
Organize and conduct employer visits, presentations, and recruitment drives on campus.
Placement Activities:
Coordinate and manage campus recruitment activities including job fairs, on-campus interviews, and career workshops.
Develop and maintain a placement calendar with key recruitment events.
Oversee the logistics and administration of placement activities.
Student Support:
Provide career counseling and guidance to students.
Assist students in the preparation of resumes, cover letters, and interview techniques. o Conduct workshops and training sessions on job search strategies and career development.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate records of student placements, employer contacts, and job opportunities.
Prepare and present reports on placement statistics and outcomes to stakeholders.
Use career management systems to track student progress and employer interactions.
Collaboration:
Work closely with academic departments to understand student skills and align placement efforts.
Coordinate with alumni networks to leverage employment opportunities.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the visibility and reputation of the placement cell.
