Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the entire school campus.
Act as the single point of coordination between Management, Principal, staff, students and service providers.
Maintain discipline, decorum and a positive learning environment on campus.
2. Infrastructure & Maintenance
Supervise maintenance of school buildings, classrooms, laboratories, library, playgrounds, hostels (if any), and common areas.
Ensure timely repair of electrical, plumbing, furniture, CCTV, RO systems, generators and fire safety equipment.
Coordinate with vendors and maintenance staff for regular inspections and emergency repairs.
3. Safety & Security
Ensure campus safety and security of students, staff, and visitors.
Supervise security guards, housekeeping staff, and drivers (if applicable).
Monitor entry and exit procedures, visitor registers, and ID compliance.
Ensure implementation of fire safety, disaster management, and emergency evacuation protocols.
Conduct regular safety audits and mock drills.
4. Transport Management (if applicable)
Oversee school transport operations, including buses, drivers and attendants.
Ensure compliance with transport safety rules, vehicle fitness, and documentation.
Address transport-related complaints and incidents promptly.
5. Housekeeping & Hygiene
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of classrooms, washrooms, corridors, playgrounds, and drinking water areas.
Monitor housekeeping staff attendance, performance, and duty allocation.
Ensure waste management and sanitation standards are maintained.
6. Staff Supervision & Coordination
Supervise non-teaching staff such as office assistants, peons, helpers, security, housekeeping, and drivers.
Allocate duties and monitor punctuality, attendance, and discipline.
Report staff performance issues or misconduct to Management/Principal.
7. Student Discipline & Welfare (Support Role)
Assist the Principal in maintaining student discipline on campus.
Address minor student issues related to campus facilities and safety.
Ensure student movement during breaks, dispersal and assemblies is orderly.
8. Event & Activity Coordination
Coordinate logistical arrangements for school events, examinations, meetings, and celebrations.
Ensure availability of infrastructure, seating, sound systems, and safety arrangements during events.
9. Inventory & Asset Management
Maintain records of school assets and consumables.
Ensure proper usage, storage, and accountability of school property.
Assist in stock verification and annual audits.
10. Compliance & Documentation
Ensure campus-related statutory compliance (safety norms, hygiene standards, local authority requirements).
Maintain records related to maintenance, security, transport, and incident reports.
Prepare periodic reports for Management/Principal.
11. Emergency Handling
Act promptly during emergencies such as accidents, medical issues, fire, or natural calamities.
Coordinate with medical services, police, fire department, and parents when required.
Ensure timely reporting and documentation of incidents.
12. Any Other Duties
Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by the Management or Principal in the interest of the institution.
