About you and this role
Launch Your Finance Career with Dow
In this role, you will require conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures as well as having general business knowledge developed through education or prior experience related to your discipline and functional area. You will need to have the ability to exchange straightforward information with others and ask questions to check for understanding.
It is your responsibility to use established procedures and practice to analyze and resolve standard problems. You will be accountable for assigned contributions with no direct supervisory responsibilities. Your performance impacts your own work with limited impact on your team. You will need to use established procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
ResponsibilitiesApply general knowledge of business and finance developed typically through education or experience in supporting treasury related activities aligned with corporate finance, financial operations, financial risk management, portfolio investments, customer financial services, financial planning, or insurance and corporate risk management
Closely work with other key internal stakeholders (such as site finance focal point, supply chain) to project the cash flow requirement of legal entities he/she is assigned
Manage the cash flow and fund transfer to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs
Working closely with Planning team to optimize the liquidity structure by taking into consideration regulatory constraints and availability of instruments in the respective countries
Manage the bank loan drawdown, rollover or repayment and interest settlement
Resolve all the Treasury-related issues which have impact on routine operation
Negotiate with bank for cash pooling agreement, E-banking agreement and set-up, and bank account opening agreement
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:Recent or soon-to-be graduate (bachelor's or master's degree) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Fluency in English
Proficiency in MS tools like Excel, Power point, Word.
Demonstrated passion for finance and a drive for continuous learning and development.
Eagerness to work with new technologies and AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot.
Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
