Key Responsibilities
General Maintenance: Routine check of wiring, lighting, and power outlets in AC classrooms, auditoriums, and staff rooms.
Power Backup: Operating and maintaining Diesel Generators (DG sets) and UPS systems to ensure zero downtime during lectures.
ICT Support: Assisting the IT team with power supply for projectors, smartboards, and computer labs.
Safety Compliance: Regular inspection of circuit breakers (MCBs), earthing systems, and fire alarm panels to ensure campus safety.
Plumbing/Pump Control: Managing the motor-pump systems for the campus water supply.
Candidate Profile
Education: ITI in Electrician trade (NCVT/SCVT) is mandatory.
License: Must hold a valid Wireman License (Grade B or equivalent) issued by the Kerala State Electricity Licensing Board.
Experience: 2-5 years of experience (experience in schools, colleges, or hospitals is a plus).
Skills: Knowledge of 3-phase wiring and the ability to troubleshoot quickly.
