About Department

The Office of Campus Planning and Development at Anant National University is responsible for planning, developing, and stewarding the physical growth of the campus in alignment with the University's academic vision and design philosophy. The office works closely with faculty, students, and external consultants to deliver high-quality, context-responsive learning environments and ensure excellence in campus design, construction, and execution.

Required Education Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) from a recognized institution, Master's preferred but not required Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architectural practice, preferably involving institutional, educational, or campus-scale projects

Software Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD for architectural drawings and documentation Working knowledge of 3D modelling tools such as SketchUp, Rhino, or Revit Familiarity with BIM workflows is desirable Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) Ability to review and interpret consultant drawings and digital models

The position of Campus Architect plays a key role in shaping and improving the built environment of Anant campus. The position requires a strong balance of architectural design thinking, construction knowledge, and execution capability, with a focus on creating high-quality learning environments. The role involves close coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure campus projects align with academic vision, functional needs, and design excellence. Key Skills & Competencies




Support the planning, design, and execution of campus development projects in alignment with the university's academic and spatial vision Translate conceptual ideas into well-resolved architectural solutions that enhance learning experiences and campus life Coordinate with faculty members, students, consultants, and external architects involved in campus construction Review architectural drawings, design proposals, and execution details to ensure design intent, quality, and constructability Provide inputs during construction to maintain design integrity and quality standards Contribute to design discussions through clear written communication, sketches, diagrams, and presentations Work with Anant faculty in identifying locations, conceiving ideas, and building student-led campus improvement projects

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, detailing, and execution processes Ability to visualize spaces and translate them into functional and engaging learning environments Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills Experience with institutional or campus-scale projects Sensitivity to academic environments and long-term campus planning * Strong design sensibility with attention to detail
