Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Operate professional video cameras to record news events, interviews, and live coverage. Collaborate with reporters and producers to capture compelling visual content that supports editorial objectives. Set up lighting, microphones, and other production equipment for indoor and outdoor shoots. Maintain and transport camera equipment safely to and from shooting locations. Ensure footage is shot according to technical standards (framing, focus, lighting, sound). Respond quickly to breaking news assignments and adapt to unpredictable field conditions. Coordinate with editors for footage transfer and provide necessary technical support. Stay updated on new camera technologies and production trends.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a camera operator, preferably in a news or media environment. Proficiency with DSLR, ENG, or digital cinema cameras. Strong knowledge of lighting and audio equipment. Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and work irregular hours (including nights, weekends, and holidays). Strong communication and teamwork skills. Degree/Diploma in Mass communication, Media, Communication, or related field preferred.
