Position Summary
Understanding of Image Signal Pipeline architecture & individual blocks
Image Signal Pipeline 3A & post processing algorithms development/customization : Auto Exposure, Auto White balance, Auto Focus, Detail Enhancement
Understanding of Image Quality metrics and evaluation methodology
Role and Responsibilities
Leads small teams of specialized professionals to develop and tune the ISP pipeline and 3A algorithms to achieve the best camera image quality for smartphones
Typically implements short-term action plans rather than developing policy, process or strategy
Enhances or Improves methods or procedures and provides coaching to team members to ensure successful outcome
Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments
Typically requires a minimum 1-2 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree, or 1 years and a Master's degree, or a PhD from a reputed university
Skills and Qualifications
- Learns to use professional concepts. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues
- Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures
- Normally receives detailed instructions on all work
