Fundoo Tutor is an online tutoring platform specialising in Cambridge, IB and international curricula. We work with students across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe and beyond, focusing on concept clarity, exam-oriented preparation and consistent progress tracking.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced

Cambridge Lower Secondary Mathematics

tutor (Stages 7-9) who can teach

online one-to-one and small group classes

. The ideal tutor is already familiar with the Cambridge framework, learning objectives and assessment style, and can make maths engaging and confidence-building for 11-14 year-olds.

Key Responsibilities

Teach

Cambridge Lower Secondary Mathematics (Stages 7-9)

online to students from diverse backgrounds. Plan structured lessons aligned with

Cambridge learning objectives

and school schemes of work. Explain concepts in a clear, step-by-step way and connect them to real-life applications. Use worksheets, quizzes and

Checkpoint-style / exam-style questions

to build exam skills. Track student progress and share brief feedback with parents after classes where required. Provide homework, doubt-clearing and exam revision support before tests and school exams. Maintain punctuality, professionalism and a student-friendly attitude in every session.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 4-5 years of

verified

Cambridge curriculum teaching experience in Mathematics

(Cambridge Lower Secondary / Checkpoint / IGCSE pathway - in school or as a tutor).

Strong command over middle-school mathematics: number, algebra, geometry, measure, statistics, graphs. Confident using

online tools

(Zoom/Google Meet, online whiteboard, pen tablet, PDFs, etc.). Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to explain concepts in simple, clear language. Consistent availability in the

evening / after-school hours (student time zones)

and optionally on weekends.
Preferred (Good to Have)

Experience teaching students in multiple regions (India, UAE, Singapore, UK, etc.). Experience preparing learners for

Cambridge Checkpoint

or higher levels (IGCSE / O Level). Ability to create your own worksheets, topic summaries and exam-style practice sets.
