Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced

Senior Biology Teacher

to teach Grades 10, 11 and 12 under both

Cambridge

and

ICSE/ISC

curricula. The teacher should have strong subject knowledge, practical lab experience, and the ability to prepare students for board examinations.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Biology to Grades 10-12 as per Cambridge (IGCSE, AS/A Level) and ICSE/ISC syllabus requirements. Deliver clear, well-planned lessons using relevant teaching aids and digital tools. Prepare students for board exams, practicals, assignments, and internal assessments. Conduct and supervise laboratory sessions, ensuring safety and proper documentation. Create engaging learning experiences that develop scientific thinking and inquiry skills. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, question papers, answer keys, and projects. Track student performance and maintain academic records. Provide academic support, remedial classes, and exam preparation sessions when required. Collaborate with the science department on curriculum planning and lab management. Participate in school events, science fairs, workshops, and faculty meetings. Ensure compliance with school policies, academic standards and examination guidelines.

Qualifications

Master's / Bachelor's degree in Biology / Life Sciences (M.Sc. preferred). B.Ed Experience teaching Biology at senior school level (Cambridge and/or ICSE). Strong understanding of practical biology, lab skills, and board exam expectations.

Skills Required

Excellent subject knowledge and passion for Biology. Strong communication and explanation skills. Ability to conduct effective laboratory sessions. Familiarity with Cambridge and ICSE assessment patterns. Use of digital tools and technology in teaching.
