ABODE School is looking for a passionate and experienced

Cambridge English Teacher

to teach

Grades 2 and 3

. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the English language, an understanding of the

Cambridge Primary curriculum

, and the ability to create engaging and interactive lessons that foster a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons aligned with the

Cambridge Primary English framework

. Develop and implement engaging learning activities to enhance reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Integrate

phonics, grammar, comprehension, and creative writing

into daily lessons. Assess students regularly through formative and summative assessments as per Cambridge guidelines. Maintain accurate records of student progress and share feedback with parents during meetings. Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports individual learning needs. Collaborate with other teachers to plan interdisciplinary projects and co-curricular activities. Participate in school events, workshops, and professional development sessions. Ensure all teaching practices align with the school's vision, values, and Cambridge assessment standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in English / Education / related field (Master's preferred). Minimum

2-3 years of teaching experience

, preferably in Cambridge or international curriculum. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong classroom management and lesson planning abilities. Passionate about teaching young learners and fostering creativity.
