Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Work with software tools like SolidCAM, Siemens NX to create programs for HMC, VMC (3Axis & 5Axis) and CNC Turning machines. Study of parameters like tool selection, feed rate, spindle speed of job setup. Great working knowledge and understanding of machine tooling, inserts, chip breaker function and proper usage of it. Define tool paths based on engineering drawings and specifications. Calculate cutting parameters such as feed rates, spindle speeds, and tool selection. Optimize machining cycle times by adjusting tool paths and parameters. Design tools and fixtures to improve machining accuracy and efficiency. Provide support to machinists during production, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operations.

Preferred candidate profile:

Experience: 10-12 years Qualification: Diploma/B.E in Mechanical Engineering Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., SolidCAM, Siemens NX). Team Management. Understanding of machining processes, speeds, feeds, and tooling. Ability to interpret engineering drawings. Experience in Aerospace domains preferred. Priority for Immediate joiners.
