The Customer Account Manager (CAM) will be responsible for managing and nurturing client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and driving business growth through repeat business and cross-selling opportunities. The role involves close coordination with internal teams to deliver projects, resolve issues, and maintain strong client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their requirements and business needs.
Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions as per client expectations.
Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Projects, Operations, Finance) for smooth execution of deliverables.
Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and support business development efforts.
Handle client escalations, resolve issues promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Prepare and present account reviews, reports, and performance updates to management.
Monitor account health, track KPIs, and support renewals and contract management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in business administration/engineering/management or related field.
Proven experience in account management, client servicing, or customer success (preferably in [industry]).
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple accounts/projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and reporting software.
