Qatar Airways is seeking experienced professionals for the role of Call Center Agent based at our Global Business Services (GBS) in Ahmedabad, India.


This position will be primarily responsible to provide administrative and operational support within the QR Group Health & Medical Services (GHMS) Division's call center located in Ahmedabad, India. Handle inbound and outbound calls related to medical appointments, employee queries, and operational updates. Assist line manager in coordinating teleconsultation services, provide information on medical services, and ensure smooth scheduling and communication, while maintaining confidentiality and non-clinical boundaries. In addition, liaise with GHMS -Doha Office to ensure alignment with Qatar Airways standards and objectives.

Responsibilities:



Answer incoming calls related to medical services to ensure timely and accurate support. Direct callers to relevant personnel to streamline resolution. Manage scheduling across in-person and teleconsultation platforms to optimize availability. Update slots in real time to prevent booking conflicts. Guide employees on accessing virtual consultations to improve readiness. Confirm appointments and send reminders to reduce no-shows. Maintain accurate records using approved systems to support reporting. Coordinate with clinic administrators to ensure smooth service delivery. Support audits and follow-ups under Medical Admin leadership to ensure compliance. Uphold confidentiality of health data to maintain trust. Share information on medical services and campaigns to boost engagement. Handle escalations professionally to meet service standards. Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department

Qualifications



Qualifications Required:



Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 1 years of job-related experience Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a call center or administrative role, ideally in a healthcare or corporate medical setting Experience working in a high-volume, service-driven environment preferred Diploma or bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage) Familiarity with healthcare appointment systems or electronic medical records (EMR) is an asset Professional, empathetic phone manner with excellent customer service orientation Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively Awareness of confidentiality and data protection protocols
