Role Overview:
The Calibration Engineer will be responsible for performing accurate calibration of instruments and managing assigned
key client accounts
. This dual role requires both
technical expertise
in calibration and
client-facing skills
to ensure smooth execution of projects, timely reporting, and long-term client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Calibration & Technical Execution
Carry out calibration, testing, and verification of instruments across domains (electrical, mechanical, thermal, dimensional, pressure, etc.) as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
Ensure accuracy, traceability, and compliance in all calibration processes.
Maintain complete calibration documentation, records, and certificates as per NABL/ISO requirements.
Troubleshoot technical calibration issues and provide solutions.
Keep updated with industry developments, standards, and calibration technologies.
Client Account Management
Serve as the single point of contact for key client accounts of ITC India Pvt. Ltd.
Understand client-specific requirements, calibration schedules, and deliverables.
Coordinate internally with operations, logistics, and quality teams to meet client commitments.
Ensure timely delivery of calibration reports/certificates to clients.
Provide technical support and proactively resolve client queries/complaints.
Build and maintain strong, long-term professional relationships with key clients.
Quality & Compliance
Strictly adhere to ITC India's Quality Management System (QMS).
Assist in preparing and supporting NABL/ISO audits and client inspections.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during calibration work.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
B.E. / B.Tech. / Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
3-4 years of relevant experience in calibration services.
Sound knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards & NABL accreditation process.
Proficiency in calibration software, MS Office, and technical documentation.
Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
Ability to manage multiple client accounts with professionalism and efficiency.
