Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake a wide variety of cakes including sponge, mousse, layered, fondant, and custom-designed cakes.
Measure and mix ingredients accurately as per recipes and customer specifications.
Decorate cakes using icing, frosting, chocolate, fondant, and other toppings with precision and creativity.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and appearance of all baked products.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the baking station and equipment at all times.
Manage inventory of baking ingredients and report shortages.
Handle customer cake orders and special requests efficiently and professionally.
Stay updated with current trends in cake design and baking techniques.
Requirements:
2-5 years of proven experience as a cake maker or pastry chef.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, cake recipes, and decoration styles.
