A cake baker is responsible for designing, baking, and decorating custom cakes according to customer specifications, requiring creativity, precision, and baking expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Create Cakes

: Develop unique cake designs based on customer requests, ensuring that each cake meets aesthetic and taste expectations.

Baking

: Prepare and bake cakes using various techniques and recipes, ensuring consistency in quality and flavor.

Decorating

: Apply icings, glazes, and decorative elements to cakes, utilizing artistic skills to enhance presentation.

Ingredient Management

: Order and manage inventory of baking supplies, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and of high quality.

Customer Interaction

: Communicate with customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing recommendations and taking orders.

Quality Control

: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with health and safety regulations.
