Operate ovens, stoves, grills, and other equipment to cook and assemble hot and cold dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
Quality control:
Monitor food quality and taste while preparing, ensuring proper cooking and temperature is maintained.
Service:
Serve food in proper portions and assist in maintaining the serving line and dining area, including stocking and cleanliness.
Sanitation and safety:
Maintain a clean and sanitized work station, equipment, and storage areas; adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Inventory management:
Monitor stock levels, assist with receiving deliveries, store food properly to prevent spoilage, and help manage inventory.
Teamwork and communication:
Collaborate with the culinary team, assist other kitchen personnel, and use clear communication with management and staff.
