Job Summary:

Annapoorna Mithai is looking for an experienced and dedicated

Cafeteria Chef

to manage and prepare

daily meals for our internal restaurant staff

. This role is purely for cooking meals for

employees (not customers)

and involves

bulk food preparation

for around

90-100 team members

. The chef must be skilled in

South and North Indian cuisines

, with strong attention to

taste, hygiene, quantity management, and nutrition

.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve

fresh, hygienic meals

(breakfast, lunch, dinner) for restaurant staff on a daily basis. Plan and cook

a variety of South and North Indian dishes

, ensuring

menu rotation

and staff satisfaction. Handle

bulk cooking

with proper

quantity and food weight management

. Maintain

high levels of cleanliness and hygiene

in the kitchen area. Manage kitchen operations, supervise helpers, and allocate daily cooking tasks. Ensure all meals are

prepared and served on time

, aligned with staff shift schedules. Monitor inventory and assist with

ordering kitchen ingredients

and supplies. Ensure proper

storage, labeling, and waste control

. Maintain

daily cleaning records and compliance with food safety standards

.

Required Skills:

Proven experience in

bulk/staff meal preparation

Specialization in

South and North Indian veg and non veg cuisine

Good understanding of

nutrition, food safety, and hygiene

Excellent

time management and teamwork

skills Ability to

lift and handle heavy utensils and food containers

Qualifications:

2+ years experience in cafeteria/industrial kitchen/hostel cooking setup
