The Cafe & Snacks Cooking Servant is responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving a variety of snacks, beverages, and light meals in a clean, hygienic, and timely manner. The role involves both back-end kitchen preparation and front-end service to customers or staff.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook snacks, tea, coffee, and light meals as per menu or order.
Maintain freshness and quality of food items.
Ensure all cooking and serving areas are kept clean, organized, and hygienic.
Monitor pantry and kitchen stock; request replenishment of ingredients when required.
Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures.
Serve snacks and beverages to customers, staff, or guests courteously.
Wash and store utensils, cookware, and serving items.
Assist in menu planning for daily or weekly snack items.
Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain cleanliness.
Requirements
Basic cooking skills for snacks, beverages, and light cafe items.
Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and food handling standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good personal hygiene and grooming.
Punctual, reliable, and customer-friendly.
Prior experience in a cafe, canteen, or food service role preferred.
