Intern:4 PM - 9 PM Full-time (later):Around 1 PM - 9 PM (with 30-60 mins prep depending on demand)

About Us

Yum Mi Banh Mi is a cosy Vietnamese cafe located in the heart of Gauhati University, known for its fresh ingredients, simple values, and a warm, friendly vibe. We believe in good food, good energy, and good people.

Role: Male Cafe Assistant

We're looking for someone who can become a part of our daily rhythm -- someone who learns our ways, understands our vibe, and contributes to creating a friendly, welcoming experience for our customers.

Reason for hiring a Male Candidate

Since our cafe is near Jalukbari and the area gets fairly quiet after 9 PM, we have to be extra mindful about team safety. Hiring a female staff member during late hours would require additional arrangements from our end. If we were operating in the earlier part of the day, this wouldn't be an issue at all.

What You'll Do

Observe, learn, and adapt to our cafe values and workflow Help assemble menu items following clear SOPs Assist with taking orders and guiding customers through the menu Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the cafe Help with ingredient prepping and end-of-day closing Greet guests, talk to them, and maintain a naturally warm vibe Support the team with anything required during service hours
Note: This role does

not

involve full cooking, just the basic stuff and so we do not need experienced cooks. The work will be mostly about assembling and following pre-set processes.

Who We're Looking For

Freshers are absolutely welcome. No prior experience needed.

Salary

Intern:

Full-time:

?7,000 - ?10,000 (if selected)
