Chef
to lead our kitchen operations and bring creativity and consistency to our menu offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and present high-quality dishes in line with cafe standards.
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control for all menu items.
Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards at all times.
Manage kitchen inventory, stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers for fresh ingredients.
Develop and test new recipes, seasonal specials, and innovative menu ideas.
Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Monitor food costs, minimize wastage, and optimize kitchen efficiency.
Collaborate with management and front-of-house teams for timely service and special events.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef, Cook, or in a similar culinary role.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, ingredients, and kitchen safety.
Creativity and passion for food presentation and flavor.
Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced cafe environment.
Leadership skills and the ability to guide and motivate kitchen staff.
Basic knowledge of inventory management and cost control.
Culinary degree or certification is a plus.
Other Preferences:
Candidates from Hamirpur or nearby areas preferred.
Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays.
