We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused
Cafe Supervisor
to oversee daily operations of the cafe. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the cafe manager in smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily cafe operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Lead, train, and motivate service and barista staff to deliver high-quality customer service.
Monitor food and beverage quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
Assist in scheduling shifts, delegating tasks, and managing staff performance.
Oversee cash handling, billing accuracy, and basic inventory checks.
Support stock management, ordering supplies, and minimizing wastage.
Ensure the cafe maintains a clean, welcoming, and organized environment.
Report to the Cafe Manager and assist in implementing promotional activities.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a cafe/restaurant supervisory role (minimum 1-2 years).
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Knowledge of cafe operations, POS systems, and basic inventory control.
Ability to work under pressure and handle fast-paced service.
High school diploma or equivalent (Hospitality/Management degree preferred).
