Job Description

Role Overview:



The Cafe Manager is responsible for leading daily cafe operations, ensuring exceptional guest experience, maintaining brand standards, and driving sales performance. This role requires strong leadership, team management, and hands-on operational excellence similar to top cafe brands like Starbucks and Blue Tokai.

Key Responsibilities1. Operations Management



Oversee day-to-day cafe operations, including opening/closing procedures. Ensure adherence to brand SOPs, hygiene & safety standards (FSSAI compliant). Maintain store cleanliness, product quality, and service consistency. Monitor brewing standards, equipment handling, and coffee quality.

2. Customer Experience



Deliver a warm, welcoming, and personalized service experience. Resolve customer concerns professionally and proactively. Ensure consistent guest satisfaction and high repeat business.

3. People Management



Recruit, train, and mentor baristas and service staff. Create weekly schedules and manage staff productivity & discipline. Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development. Foster a positive team environment similar to reputed cafe chains.

4. Inventory & Stock Control



Maintain daily stock levels for coffee, food, packaging, and consumables. Conduct weekly inventory audits and minimize wastage. Coordinate with suppliers for timely ordering and deliveries.

5. Sales & Revenue Management



Achieve monthly sales targets and improve cafe profitability. Drive upselling, promotions, and customer engagement activities. Analyze daily sales reports and implement strategies for growth.

6. Financial Oversight



Manage cash handling, billing operations, and daily cash reconciliations. Control operational costs including manpower, wastage, and utilities.

7. Compliance & Standards



Ensure cafe follows all audit standards: Food safety Hygiene Fire & safety protocols Maintain checklists, documentation, and reporting standards.

Requirements



3-5+ years of cafe/restaurant management experience (Starbucks / Blue Tokai / Premium cafe experience preferred). Strong leadership and communication skills. Knowledge of specialty coffee, brewing methods, and cafe operations. Ability to manage a team of 8-15 members. Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities. Comfortable working in shifts, weekends, and high-volume environments.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
