Key Responsibilities



Prepare and cook cafe menu items including: Pastries, cakes, and baked goods Sandwiches, burgers, and pizzas Pancakes, waffles, and English breakfast items Pasta and light meals Ensure high-quality standards in taste, hygiene, and presentation. Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards. Plan menus, control portions, and manage food costs. Monitor inventory and assist in ordering supplies. Work with cafe staff to ensure smooth and timely service.

Requirements



Prior experience as a Chef / Cook in a cafe, bakery, or restaurant. Strong skills in pastry-making and continental dishes. Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices. Passionate, creative, and consistent in cooking. Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment. Flexibility for shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications



Diploma/Certification in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or related field. 2-4 years of relevant work experience. Familiarity with cafe menu trends and modern plating.
