Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI), headquartered in Bengaluru with a satellite office in Pune, is the largest R&D center for Mercedes-Benz Group AG outside of Germany. Key Responsibilities:
+ Perform NVH (Noise, Vibration & Harshness) CAE analysis for full vehicle load cases and subsystem evaluations.
+ Develop and validate NVH models using appropriate simulation tools and methodologies.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments and external partners for NVH development activities.
+ Interact with customers for technical discussions, issue resolution, and performance improvement proposals.
+ Conduct MBS (Multi-Body Simulation) for dynamic vehicle behavior and NVH performance prediction.
+ Prepare and interpret analysis reports to support design optimization and root cause identification.
+ Support continuous improvement in NVH simulation methods, automation, and correlation processes.
Required Skills and Experience:
+ Expertise in Automotive NVH CAE with strong knowledge of NVH load cases and analysis methods.
+ Experience in MBS simulation and full vehicle NVH analysis.
+ Proficiency in CAE tools such as ANSA, HYPERWORKS, NASTRAN, ANIMATOR, METApost, SIMPACK, MATLAB, and Excel VBA.
+ Solid understanding of structures, Strength of Materials, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
+ Experience in Body-in-White (BiW) and Closures domain.
+ Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
+ Experience interacting with global teams and external stakeholders.
QualifikationenEducational Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's / Master's degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering or related discipline.
+ Additional certifications in CAE, NVH, or simulation tools (if any) will be an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):
+ Working knowledge of German language and exposure to German engineering standards.
+ Experience with Daimler systems, NVH correlation processes, or international project collaboration.
+ Good understanding of CAE automation and data post-processing using Excel VBA or MATLAB.
