Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and optimize CNC programs for

laser cutting

,

turret punching

,

CNC lathes

, and

VMC machines

using relevant CAM software. Generate

nesting layouts

to maximize material utilization and minimize waste. Interpret and work from engineering drawings, CAD files, and specifications. Collaborate with the

Production Planning & Control (PPC)

,

engineering

, and

shop floor teams

to ensure production efficiency. Set up and configure CNC machines, including selection and installation of appropriate tools and fixtures. Maintain program documentation and update records for revisions and improvements. Troubleshoot and resolve programming or machining issues to reduce downtime and improve output. Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality procedures on the shop floor.
Required Knowledge & Abilities

Proficiency in

CAM software

for CNC laser and turret punch(e.g., MasterCAM, VPSS4ie, CncKad(Metalix) and ZWCAD or similar). Working knowledge of

AutoCAD

for reading and editing part drawings. Strong understanding of

CNC machining

,

sheet metal fabrication processes

, and

nesting strategies

. Experience in programming and operating

CNC lathe

and

VMC (Vertical Machining Center)

machines. Familiarity with CNC tooling, machine setup, and

material handling practices

. Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams. Strong communication and documentation skills. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities. Able to work with minimal supervision, efficiently schedule and manage time
Experience

Minimum two-three years work experience in Machine Shop/Fabrication Shop (with minimum one year relevant to Production department)
Educational Background

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or higher with a good academic record. No backlogs or gaps in education.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
