Job Description

Design and modeling:

Create 3D models of parts and assemblies using CAD software, including features like extrusions, sweeps, and surface modeling. Generate 2D technical drawings with accurate dimensions, tolerances, and annotations. Modify existing designs based on feedback from engineers or other stakeholders.

CAM programming:

Import CAD models into CAM software Select appropriate cutting tools and set machining parameters (feed rates, speeds, depth of cut) Generate NC (numerical control) code to control CNC machines for precise part fabrication.

Quality control:

Verify the accuracy of designs and NC programs through simulation tools Inspect manufactured parts to ensure they meet design specifications

Collaboration:

Work closely with engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into designs Communicate with manufacturing personnel to address any issues during production
Required skills and qualifications:

Proficiency in any CAD software (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) Knowledge of CAM software Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of manufacturing processes Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadlines Excellent problem-solving skills

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
