Job Opening: CAD/CAM Design Engineer - Die & Mould

Company:

Futura Engineering Pvt. Ltd.

Location:

Ahmedabad / Chhatral (On-site)

Experience:

Minimum 5 years

(Die & Mould Manufacturing - Mandatory)

Qualification:

Diploma / BE / B.Tech (Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities:

Design and development of

plastic injection moulds, press tools, die & mould components

CAD modelling, detailing, and assembly drawings

as per manufacturing standards

CAM programming

for CNC milling, drilling, and finishing operations Toolpath optimization for

high-speed machining and precision finishing

Coordination with

production, CNC operators, and tool room

Design validation, revision control, and

cost/time optimization

Supporting trials, modifications, and troubleshooting during manufacturing

Software Skills (Mandatory):

NX / SolidWorks / Creo

(any one - strong proficiency)

Mastercam / NX CAM / PowerMill

(hands-on experience) Good understanding of

GD&T, machining allowances, tool selection

Industry Experience Required:

Strong exposure to

Die & Mould manufacturing environment

Knowledge of

mould steels, heat treatment, electrodes, EDM/Wirecut

Experience with

tight tolerances and complex tooling
