Job Position :Application Engineer

Work Experience : 2-5 years

A CAD Application Engineer develops, implements, and supports CAD software solutions to optimize engineering design, providing technical support, training users, troubleshooting issues, and customizing applications to meet project needs, while ensuring efficient workflows and adherence to standards for creating accurate 2D/3D models and technical drawings. Key duties involve collaborating with design teams, creating documentation, managing CAD data, and staying updated on new technologies, requiring skills in software like SolidWorks or AutoCAD and strong problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Software Support & Development: Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and customize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) to meet specific project requirements. Workflow Optimization: Develop and implement CAD standards, best practices, and efficient workflows to improve team productivity. User Training & Documentation: Conduct user training sessions, create guides, and maintain documentation for CAD processes. Design Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (engineers, designers) to translate concepts into detailed 2D/3D models and technical drawings. Data Management: Manage CAD data, file systems, and ensure seamless integration with other engineering software. Testing & Validation: Perform testing and validation of CAD tools and configurations. Stay Current: Keep updated on the latest CAD technologies, trends, and integrations.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in specific CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PTC Creo) and related systems Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to train others. Plus: Knowledge of CAD customization, scripting, and PLM systems is often a plus.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
