Creating and Modifying Designs:

Developing 2D and 3D designs, patterns, and technical drawings using CAD software. *

Collaborating with Teams:

Working with designers, pattern makers, merchandisers, and production staff to ensure designs are feasible and meet requirements.

Developing Technical Specifications:

Creating detailed specifications for garment construction, including seam allowances, stitch types, and material usage.

Managing Design Data:

Organizing and maintaining design files, ensuring version control, and adhering to company standards.

Staying Updated on Trends:

Keeping abreast of current fashion trends, fabric technologies, and CAD software advancements.

Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:

Identifying and resolving design-related issues during the development and production process.

Marker Making:

Creating efficient layouts of pattern pieces to minimize fabric waste during cutting.
